The ones I just put on my suburban are identical to the originals I took off.What makes you think the edges aren't tapered ?My pins and plates are beveled,grease zert screws into the end of the pins.I purchased my shackle kits from the above link at Classic Parts Of America.
He has a 1953 3100 Chevrolet he wants shackles for.
Now I'm confused about what Curt B is talking about. headscratch
