hey Marc - it'd be great if you could get some pics up and linked here so there could be an archived record of the question for other folks to find ... I wouldn't mind seeing the details myself as, although I've never paid any attention to the core support differences, I've bolted 57 GMC fenders onto a 57 Chevy core support .... which I'd think would mean they're "somewhat alike"
