What do you mean by needing to remove some of the meat? What area of the block are you referring to? My '58 has the patrick's ring & pinion kit installed as well. I also spoke with Mr. Langdon and was told the same thing. He suggested that I install a a 200r4 or a 700r in place of the TH350. Just as in your case, I have a turbo 350 accessible but not a 200 nor 700. I'm anxious to see how things workout. Thanks for taking the time to inform us.
