| | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 295 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 295 | On ANY DC motor you cannot reverse rotation without reversing the field or the armature. You can reverse the line leads all day and not change a thing.
EXCEPTION
those with permanent magnet fields -
BUT
when you reverse the line leads you have reversed the armature so it still holds true.
