Note- New truck for me
I have an air flow heater in my 54 3100. I have a cable that is labled " T " that operates the flap door on the heater( on the side - to recirculate the cab air).
I have an under dash switch looks aftermarket. I have 2 hoses going into the heater from inside the engine compartment, off the water pump...But I don't see a on/off valve inline on one of the hoses ?
Does the water just circulate thru the heater..then when i need heat/defrost the switch turns on the squirrel cage and thats when I feel the heat ?
The heater hoses look new...did the last owner forget to put the valve back on ? or does the 54 not have it?
