One thing that will surprise you is the aluminum cup on the pump. The kit comes with a rubber one. I have a question about that also.The hole that the rubber goes into has a cap that the old rod hooked into.Do I need to take that out of the bowl assembly or put the new rubber type pump over that cap?The cap seems to be in there pretty good .Another question.The original throttle body gasket is very thick and the new one is thin.The old gasket has a metal grommet that helped space the carb sections apart,the new gasket doesnt and there is a brass pin that goes between the throttle body and the bowl assembly and with the thinner gasket they dont quit go together all the way.Thanks again for all the help and fast replies.The experience and knowledge you guys share is invaluable.
