I am having problems with my Carter W1 (574S) carb flooding out at times. I opened it up to clean and replace the accelerator pump and now it occasionally floods out. Gas will come up out of the accelerator plunger shaft hole on top of the bowl. I did not disturb the bowl setting. I am wondering if maybe the float needle seat valve could be sticking? Anyway I have been looking for the bowl setting and find that there is a number of settings used. I have the 235 in my 1-1/2 ton.
Any help would be really appreciated.
