The passenger side window in my ’53 3600 is difficult to roll down for the last 5 or six inches. It wants to go further down in the back than the front and tries to “cock” rearward. If I press down very firmly on the front part of the glass, I can crank it all the way down with a lot of effort and force. If I don’t press, it won’t go down. I don’t find anything in the shop manual about lubricating anything on the windows or their mechanisms. What is the cause of this and what is the solution?
The driver’s side window is becoming harder to crank but doesn’t “cock” one way or the other. Any help or advice is appreciated.
