I put the CPP 5 on 4-3/4 (to match the 10 bolt rearend) lug kit on my '48 and the only problem I had was the brake lines were too short. I had to extend the factory bracket so it wouldn't pinch closed the hoses when turned stop to stop.
I had a shop install my king pins. I saw what had to be done and knew I didn't have enough heat or big enough hammer to remove the 60 year old parts.... It only cost me $65. and it was worth every penny of it.
