Rather than getting a fiberglass floor, why not make one out of sheet metal and put a plywood backing? That is how they were originally. On the otherhand, the fiberglass can be strong as or stronger than steel if reinforced properly.
There is a kick panel that is below the firewall to the floor.
For a gastank, I could get one made for cheaper than they are sold online...go visit a metal fabricator in your area.
I have an extra set of windsheild hinges. What are you willing to pay for them? I have no clue what they are worth.
