I made my own rears for the '37, it was pretty easy to bend them to fit. Only draw back is, they are soft and will bend very easy if hit. The stock brackets have some spring steel in them. Maybe you get yours heat treated or something if you bend up a set. The aftermarket ones may be just soft steel anyway, so it might not matter. Also, if you bend you own, you won't have the GM logo in the steel like the OEM ones do.
