Actually the s10 has the mount there because it is the rear engine mount. 2 mounts up front on the side, 1 in the rear on the transmission makes the engine mounting "triangle". Our stovebolts make the triangle with the front mount, and the 2 rear mounts on the bellhousing. That rear crossmember is redundant on a stovebolt with a t5. Still it couldn't hurt to have one for the frame stiffening properties.
