| | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 187 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 187 | I had excessive wear in the spindle surface where the inner bearing rides. I was willing to purchase new ones which I couldn't find. Used ones were just as bad or worse. I found a company that did hard chroming and they built up the surface and with the new bearings they machined them to fit properly. This process might due well for the threads as well. It could be something to research.
