Put a new mech. fuel pump on it & put a spring return switch to the electric pump. That way when it sets for a long period you can fill the carb with the electric pump. Mount it in the frame back by the tank like HRL say's & put a filter in front of it.
If I decide to go this route will the fuel run through the electric pump without it being on when it is not needed? So the object would be instead of having to pump the mechanical pump after sitting awhile I could just hit the switch and give the carb a jump start fromn the electric pump correct?
