I think he's needing a later-model engine anyway. Is yours a car or truck engine? I'm looking for a 1950 model car 235 with hydraulic lifters, or at least a block to build up. It would need to be one with the sidesaddle motor mounts, and an oil gallery drilled to supply hydraulics.
