I think there is a TECH TIP for this? I can tell you the 6 volt flywheel has 139 teeth, and the starter drive will have 7 teeth. The 12 volt flywheel has 168 teeth and the starter drive has 9 teeth. The starters had different color model tags, red for 12 volt and black for 6 volt.
