For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 72 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 72 | Well, I've been away for a while and I am ready to start working on her again. 55 1st series with a second series 235 engine that has been converted to a 12v. I had to remove the head due to a head gasket leak and I will hopefully put that back together this weekend, I hope? The truck belonged to my Grandfather way back when, and somewhere along the way it became a 12v conversion. Presently it has a switched starter, and I would guess it is 12v as well. I want to make it a Foot Stomp and was wondering other than counting the teeth on the flywheel, how I can be sure that it is a 12v and not a 6v switched starter? Thanks for all responses! | | |
