The 235 is not a high revver, so you'd be more than fine with 2" pipes. You could go bigger of course, so let's say 2 1/4". If you want to merge into a single exhaust, then don't make the single any less than 2 1/2". Personally, I'd keep it dual exhaust all the way back.
