What did you find for #1, Block Casting Code?
As I posted above (with a question mark), I found 3701887 listed for 1953
on one website (and I put it on
my casting numbers web page), but the Hemmings/Chevytalk website did not say what 1953 235 engine - (Powerglide, manual car, or truck block).
