I would agree that a '53 would be worth more than a '65. If it were a '53 in the same shape for the same pricing then you would be getting a fair deal...if the engine was indeed good. Seeing as how it is a newer large truck they are not worth nearly as much. If you simply wanted a work truck and it ran...had a radiator...and brakes...then it would probably be O.K. This would not be a good truck to try and restore though as it is missing so much of the interior, missing brake components, and has no radiator. I would say unless you find a great deal you are looking at a couple hundred to replace the radiator alone.

As a parts truck that would be a decent price as it is basically what scrap value is. The $300 for the engine though I would want some sort of guarantee that it is actually good. It looks like the front plug on drivers side may be missing as well...or wire is just off. If plug is out I would really question the engine.

Just noticed that it is missing the shifter for the 2 speed rear as well. That will be another $50(good) to $150.
