| | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 | I have a farm tank that I purchased at auction and it had some leakage around the outlet. After sandblasting and painting it I am now ready to put it to use but want to be sure the leak is stopped. I replaced the reducer bushing which was very short with a new one and used pipe dope on the threads. As for the welded tank bung I want to put something on it but don't know what is best. If anyone has some experienced advice from your old Chevy truck tanks I would appreciate it. Thanks.
