I know this is a personal preference question, at least in regards to a rodding application. I know what the original color would be, but I am wondering if there are any practical reasons for painting the dash a different color than the body color. I am thinking of painting my '50 a light blue and was wondering about painting the dash body-color or going with a charcoal color.

Any thoughts?
