I checked it again this morning after it got up to temp, and I don't notice any collapsing of the lower hose, even if I rev it up.
The fan is about 2" away from the radiator and seems to be in the center, although it is low. This looks like a non-standard replacement. but it looks beefy enough.
Replace fan? or spacers?
