They were a long tube about 30"with a 4" or 5" round mirror on the end. As I recall, the left side was included and the right side was a dealer installed option. I don't remember many trucks that had a right hand mirror.
I may be off slightly on the dimensions, but I learned to drive big farm trucks in and out of my Dad's dealership and very few had right hand mirrors. In the 50's, west coast style mirrors became available and we couldn't figure out how we did without them. They were aftermarket items.
