You shouldn't have to flare those stainless lines if you cut them. You can get brass fittings with crush farrels at any quality auto parts place. I got mine from Ole's carbuerators in San Bruno. I am running an old glass type filter on the 59. The glass filter I got from Carter for my 1940 gmc leaks.
