Pre '68 Dave 'Bolter P Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 Snohomish,WA,USA	All factory assembled engine up to 1954 had shims on the mains. I have never seen shims on 1955 or later mains. No full pressure engines had shims on the rods. See the USA in your vintage Chevrolet! My Blog
