Thanks Czechman for your comments. In thinking along these lines, I was told of using a primer that is out now.
I was told its tintable and has no chipping or waxing that has to be done.
If I recall the conversation correctly it was something that could be bought at the local parts store for a very cheap price, like 25 per quart. I think a lot of street rod guys are running it.
If anyone knows more about this I would appreciate the info because I can tell you right now that I am not paying someone to paint my truck.
