The engine hoist just comes in through the door against the wood of the A-frame. The open part of the A is going around the windshiedld divider the top of the A out the back window. So you only ever have wood to metal contact not metal to metal. This also does not touch the door frames where there is a chance of damaging the rain gutters which are a bear to fix. I am lifting the cab in the next week or so I will shoot some pictures and post them.
