Years ago when I took a body work course the instructor had a hail-damaged panel and used an acetalyne torch and a wet rag. I do not recall exactly what he did but he held the torch high enough to heat the panel without damaging the paint and then rubbed the wet rag over it. The pock marks popped out. Has anyone seen/done this and can explain it?
