Thank you for the help. I have a 1957 Chevy 3100 with a stock 235. With a stock carb and linkage. I will post more detailed photos I hooked everything up but still not working. I push the pedal down but doesn't return. I am following manual. Thank you the spring doesn't seem to be right either
