I looked all over for parts the look just like on page 4-51. Mine came with an oil seal in the slip joint. The seal was just left of the steel washer in Fig. 76. My local parts store matched it up for me so I replaced the seal and it seems to be working well. I probably can find the part number for the seal if you are interested.
