I know what ya mean Beav, I was scraping the mud/clay/grease off all the spring mounts with a screw driver and couldn’t figure out why it was so tinatious right next to the eye, then I discovered it was a cork seal. I’m doin a frame up next year and will probably send the springs to a spring shop to have them gone over, so I will be replacing all that. Do the replacement shackles and bolt kits contain a seal of any sort, or is that up to you to figure out a seal?
