The rod going from the bell-crank to the carb on our truck doesn't have near that much bend in it. Not to say that it wouldn't work, but it looks pretty odd. I think ours goes up through the gap between the manifold and the block. That one looks like it's curved enough to go out around the outside of the manifold. Seems like it would bind that way, but who knows.
