One precaution- - - - -something like a choke cable won't be sturdy enough to assure good operation of the OD lockout lever. Go to a shop or a parts dealer where they service PTO's, like maybe one specializing in working on dump trucks, etc., and get a heavy-duty push-pull cable assembly. The only time the cable is pulled is when you want to lock the OD out of engagement, like for trailer towing, descending steep hills where you need engine braking, etc. I strongly reccomend doing the whole setup with the relay, kickdown switch, and governor. It works much better if it's installed the way it was designed!
