| | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 | Where and how were the cable operated shut off valves mounted? I bought a new one from Napa and trying to decide where the best place to install it would be.
I could maybe put it inside the cab between the heater and firewall. I have about 4 to 5 inches there.
My second thought is that the original location, wherever that is, had some forethought applied already so there would be no need for me to damage my brain any further to pick a location.
The truck is a 53 Chevy/GMC on a 73 Suburban frame and drivetrain.
