| | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,028 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,028 | I think this is gear oil from the tranny. The engine oil is new and so clean you can't see it on the dipstick. This oil is heavy and dark like the gear oil in the tranny.
The tranny was wet with oil all over. I think I will dry it off and see if there are any obvious leaks.
If I pull the clutch cover will I see the rear seal on the engine (at least enough to see if it is the rear seal?
