sorry if this is the wrong location to ask this question, feel free to move it if need be. i just bought a used plastic boat fuel tank to run my 292. if has a 1/4" fuel line which i assume is too small. i was planning on drilling down the center of female fitting on tank and brazing on a piece of copper tubing (to be used as gas pick up) into the new 5/16" barb fitting. someone please stop me if the 1/4" will work.
my main question is there is some white slime, like water contamination, inside the tank. can this just be rinced out with clean gas or something else? this setup is temp but might be used for a couple of years who knows. thanks
