I have a screwdriver my dad made that has the blade completely hidden in the metal sleeve. It is for adjusting valves with the engine running so it will not slip off the adjuster while the engine is running. I have used it lots of times before I got the tool with a socket and screwdriver combination for adjusting valves and working the lock nut at the same time.
