My name's Doug,& I just sold my
original (almost all original)'68 Ford-
F250.I got a really good price for it.
Next door,there's been a '60 Apache
30 that was used as an ambulance in a small
logging town near here.It's almost all or-
iginal.Original paint,most of the inter-
ior's perfect,& it's not rusty.Best of all-
it has 5100 miles (yes,5100).235-6 cylin-
der with a 4 speed transmission.The paint needs to be buffed out in a few places.
Runs & drives great.
It was built in Oakland,CA,sold to
the mill new in 1960 by Sacchi Chevrolet
in Arcata,CA.It's an ambulance conversion
by Pacific Body Builders in Portland,Ore.
I can't seem to find anything about the
company.
It also has the original rims with
7.50 -17 tires on them.What's the way to
go on them?Replace the tires only,or re-
place the tires/rims with?
I wish that I could post a picture here to show exactly what it looks like.
