First day of junior year, my clutch blows up in the parking lot! It's been a week or so, I have the transmission and clutch out. The 'restrictor' plate that is usually riveted on had been completely torn off, one spring is munched, and another is missing. Plus my throwout bearing doesn't spin correctly any more. I've just bought a new clutch assembly and I'd like to know which direction the clutch plate goes in. I don't think I put it in wrong the first time, as i drove it for 100 miles or so without incident.. Tips? I cant help but feel i did something wrong the first time
