I've got a Chevy 3100 that I'm finally getting back to working on, and the parking brake linkages I bought from what used to be Chevy Duty, at least at the time I bought them, has these two gold colored brackets that seem like they should clamp upon something with a pair of bolts. I'm utterly confused at what they're for and the linkages that these replaced didn't have them so it didn't really help me. Do they go inside the brake assembly or outside or? The linkages seem to hook up like they should except for this one part.
