My dad and I were trying to time my 235, we noticed that the left rear exhaust was cooler than the right, after hooking up the timing light, noticed that we couldn't get it to operate on the #1 wire, and very intermittingly on the rest of the wires. It seemed to work on the coil wire to the distributor. Seems with that said, not all the cylinders are firing. Can anyone suggest what might be the problem? Spark plugs, wires, points or condenser. Would I be better off going to a HEI modified distributor? Any help or suggestion would be appreciated!!!!
