The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Panels 'N Burbs Reproduction Suburban Gas Tank?

Just to enlighten,
The gas tanks on 60-66 burbs and panels ARE Different.
60 thru 62 trucks had wider frame rails in the rear than 63 thru 66
because of the torsion bar front suspension and X frame design.
Try putting a 65 bumper on a 62.
It wont fit,The bolt holes are like 4" wider.
Tried to put a 62 chev sub tank in a 65 panel,NO GO
Tank TOO Wide,Trust me.
