although the s-10 rear i am inquiring about is a 200-, i got out my calipers and measured my 2003 s-10's yoke. then measured my 57's yoke thats the 1980 rear housing. believe it or not, my 2003 s-10's yoke width is right at .400" narrower then the s-10's yoke. i would have thought it to be the other way around. even the round diameter of the cups on the s-10 is .050" bigger then the 1980 rear in the 57.
width wise the s-10 rear is 10" narrower then my current rear, so im thinking i might need to stick to a car rear like something out of an early chevelle, camaro or nova.
