I gave up this time trying to get Steele 19954 seal for use with the stainless trim in place with or without the 3M windshield sealer. I put in a standard seal (no stainless trim) as a last resort (I had to have a sealed windshield this year for the trip to Macungie).
I have a new strategy for next time (I have two moe trucks to put windshields into).
