On the 48 John M had replaced the fuel filter with see thru which only shows about a third full, after rebuilding carb replacing fuel line replacingvacum advance assembly and line it runs pretty good, don't go to fast around yard since only have E-brake but it runs fine no spitting and popping on accelration. fuel filter never shows much more than 1/3 full even at high speed no load idle.
