I assumed that the original gearing would make it tough for the truck to keep up at highway speeds around here. The speed limit on the main road here is 65 and 70 is kinda what everyone drives at. Will the original gearing be able to maintain 70?
As for the brakes and power steering, I could be comfortable with the brakes if they work well, but I think my daughter would have trouble parking it with power steering.
She will be a very small woman not likely to break five foot. At the end of the day this will be her truck so I want it to be as comfortable as it can for her. What do you guys think, have I over thought this?
Father daughter project is a 1964 3/4 4x4 stepside longbed.
