| | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 70 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 70 | I just ordered a wiring harness from Classic Parts and I have questions before I proceed. Here is what I got: 283 V8(originally 6 cyl), HEI, alternator. I think I also have the original two position ignition switch for a 6 cyl. Did this old ignition switch necessitate the installation of the under dash push button for the starter a previous owner installed?
Should I try to do the same thing with the new harness, or just get a new igniton switch. I was thinking an electric foot switch would be cool, just wire up like the push button?
