I have played with this a bit and agree with 1/16” being the correct size restriction and is what is on my Amsoil mount.

First I did this

Then I made one from a single pc. of aluminum including a 1/16” restrictor and using GM’s most common filter like this.

And finally I have decided the best for me is an Amsoil bypass setup with a 98% efficiency rating at 2 microns absolute
