Thanks for the info. If I can make it out to my shop today I will give it a try. One thing about the accelerator pump, I peeked down the carb throat and pumped the throttle and I did notice gas squirting in, if that means anything without knowing the volume that should be going in. I used to have a 1953 Chev sedan in 1962 when I was in High School. Wonderful old car as I remember. Not very cool at school as it was a four door, solid green with a visor. I liked it anyway.
